Liverpool FC Women have wrapped up a permanent deal for Natalia Ramos, the central midfielder arriving from CD Tenerife Femenino once her visa and international clearance are processed.
Ramos is the sixth new face Gareth Taylor has added ahead of 2026-27, and arguably the most seasoned of them. She leaves Tenerife with over 200 senior appearances behind her, thirty of those coming in Spain's top flight last season.
The numbers are what catch the eye. Ten goals and five assists in a single Liga F campaign is a striker's return from a No.8, and it explains why a club rebuilding its midfield moved for a 27-year-old rather than a project signing.
“I'm really, really happy. I'm very excited to achieve this new step in my life and I'm very grateful for this new opportunity.”
Speaking at the AXA Melwood Training Centre after signing, Ramos described the move as an easy call, saying she felt “very happy and privileged” to take the shirt given what she already knew about the club's standing.
Ramos represented Spain at U17 and U19 level, and was part of the squad that won the U19 Women's European Championship in Northern Ireland in 2017 — a group that has since fed a generation of senior internationals.
She will wear the No.6 at Liverpool.
