Corrections & complaints
Last updated: August 2026
Centrekop is a fan-run site, and we get things wrong sometimes. If you spot an error, a missing image credit, or reporting you believe is unfair, tell us and we will look into it.
Fastest route
Email contact@centrekop.com with the article link and the detail you want changed.
Start a correction requestWhat to include
- The link to the article and its headline.
- The exact line or claim you believe is wrong.
- What the correct information is.
- Any source or evidence that supports it.
- Your name and an email address we can reply to.
What happens next
We aim to acknowledge every request within two working days and to resolve it within seven. Straightforward factual fixes are usually made the same day.
If a request needs more time — for example when we have to check with a source — we will tell you and keep you updated.
How we handle changes
- Typos and small edits: corrected silently, with no note added.
- Factual corrections: the article is updated and a dated correction note is added at the foot of the piece.
- Significant errors: the headline or standfirst is amended where needed, and the correction is stated clearly at the top of the article.
- Removal: we take articles down only where there is a legal reason or a serious accuracy problem that cannot be fixed by editing.
If you are a photographer or rights holder and an image on Centrekop is uncredited, wrongly credited, or used without permission, email us and we will correct the credit or remove the image promptly. Please include the article link and proof of ownership.
Complaints about our reporting
If you are unhappy with how a story was reported — tone, fairness, or a right of reply you were not offered — send us the details at the same address and mark the subject line “Complaint”. Complaints are reviewed by an editor who was not involved in the original piece where possible.
If you are still unhappy after our response, reply to the same thread and we will review the decision once more.
